Keio University, Bank of Yokohama and Kawasaki City Institute of Industrial Promotion concluded a memorandum of understanding towards industrial promotion of Kawasaki City, where Toshiro Aoyama, the Executive Director of the Tonomachi Advanced Research Collaboration Square, also attended.

The purpose of the agreement is to jointly support the discovery, commercialization and social implementation of technology and seeds from universities and research institutes that are located in the city, and create global social values and sustainable growth of the local economy.

At Tonomachi Town Campus, Keio University plan to actively promote the accumulation of research seeds and venture ideas within the university in collaboration with Keio University Innovation Promotion Headquarters, which was established in February last year.
