Bridge across Tamagawa River to link Haneda Airport to KING SKYFRONT
At a meeting held on 18 May 2015, the Japanese Government decided to build a bridge across the Tamagawa River to connect KING SKYFRONT (located in the Tonomachi area of Kawasaki City) to Haneda Airport (Tokyo International Airport) that are separated by a distance of approximately 600 m. The bridge is scheduled to be completed before the opening of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Notably, the bridge will significantly reduce the time taken to travel from Haneda Airport—an international hub airport—to facilities located at KING SKYFRONT. The ease of access to Haneda airport is expected to further internationalize the activities of KING SKYFRONT by enabling ‘day-return’ meetings and training sessions for visitors from overseas.
