Contribution to the Medical Field by Developing Cutting-edge Animal Experiment Systems
Since its establishment in 1952, CIEM has contributed to basic research and the development of pharmaceuticals in Japan by establishing the laboratory animal breeding and management technology, the animal quality control, and by developing new experimental animals and animal experimental systems. In 2020, CIEM was awarded the Japan Medical Research and Development Grand Prize by the Japan Cabinet Office
